My story with the Little Prince Community Association.
My name is Ludmila Soares, I am 19 years old, and I have known the Pequeno Príncipe Community Association since I was 6 years old, which is when I started as a student, along with my older sister. I have fond memories of studying here, mainly because it was a different pedagogy from the school I attended at the time. I loved knitting, painting watercolors, kneading bread, and participating in the end-of-year presentations. It was magical how we experienced each season of the year, such as Easter, spring, Michaelmas, and others.
Currently, my connection with the Association remains strong, because in addition to working at the association, many people in my family are directly involved in the project, for example my 12-year-old sister who has been attending the association since she was 5 years old, my mother and my godmother who also work here.
Consequently, the time I spent as a child at the association still resonates strongly in my life years later.
