Programs

We offer social protection to children and adolescents in vulnerable and at-risk situations, promoting activities that strengthen autonomy, protagonism and citizenship. After-school care: children aged 3 to 12.

The art of education by doing

Actions carried out with a sense of Human Being, in accordance with what the environment demands.

Educators set an example, leading children to learn about their work in practice.

Agriculture, cooking, maintenance and crafts.

Food safety

We maintain a permanent Health Education and Healthy Eating program to meet the need for adequate nutrition that is essential for the physical, psychological and mental development of children and adolescents. We prepare a monthly menu prepared with organic and whole products, some of which are grown in our own gardens.

An average of 90 meals are served daily. Families are provided with information that helps them become aware of the importance of nutrition in preventing diseases and adopting healthy habits.

There is no way to think about food outside of its symbolic relationship with human beings, outside of food choices and all the social, economic and cultural processes involved in this dynamic.

Pilot Project Implementation of a Waldorf Kindergarten. We are a non-profit organization created by anthroposophical people in 1993. Our mission, values and vision are based on Waldorf Pedagogy as the basis for the development of the Human Being.

The impact of our work can be seen in the different life stories told by young people and adults who have participated in our programs and are now prosperous and free people, despite the context in which they live. We must be careful not to stigmatize people who live in the outskirts of the city, but the vulnerable situation in which they find themselves is well known.

While Waldorf Pedagogy has not yet reached public schools, we want to achieve 2 major goals:

1st, through Kindergarten, we want to provide a qualitative boost so that children are happy and feel free to learn.
2nd Continue offering a supplement during after-school hours that will enhance their learning.

It is about offering children from peripheral areas quality educational opportunities.

Sustainable initiatives

Actions developed by the Support Team to generate revenue to supplement the cost of socio-educational, socio-environmental and administrative programs.

Productive cuisine: Breakfast menus, coffee breaks, lunches, snacks, wholemeal breads, cookies, jams, etc. Made with organic and biodynamic products, grown in our gardens. (Buffet and delivery)

Collaborative economy: Bazaar - second-hand clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, appliances. Children's clothes are donated according to the family's needs.

Educating amid biodiversity

Development of children in a natural environment. Weekly horticulture and gardening activities following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture and cultivating the environment for healthy eating.

Children feel free in the space, interacting with plants, insects and wild animals as part of their learning. We all adopt the language of nature and the principles of sustainability.

Horticulture and agricultural production have gone from being specific projects to permanent programs.

Permaculture design

Creation of sustainable human systems valued by biodynamic agriculture.

Rich exchange of knowledge with the teaching team and other collaborators, increasing the repertoire of all people involved. Definition of an Action Plan according to Permacultural Design based on self-management, horizontality and decentralization of knowledge.

Improvement of space/area/land, improving the relationship with water, composting, and food production. New bioconstruction infrastructures: Land management: Hyperadobe benches and sandpit. Bamboo management: play structures, sound instruments, shelves, gates, clotheslines, and bamboo chicken coop.

Human and therapeutic promotion

Continuation of the project whose funding was finalized in December 2020, through the voluntary action of professionals who placed above all the importance of meeting the social needs and developing the skills of the children served.

Promote human beings in their potential and provide tools to overcome physical, emotional and intellectual deficiencies. Expand cognitive, cultural and social skills, as a form of expression in society as an active citizen in their culture, participating in the society in which they are inserted.
